Obituary for Charles H. Kull at JAMES J. PALMERI FUNERAL HOME

Charles H. Kull, 84, of Mt. Bethel, PA passed away Saturday, September 4th, at his residence.

Charles was born in Pottsville, PA on October 21, 1936, a son of the late Charles H. and Grace W. (Huling) Kull.

He was the husband of Doris E. (Christman) Kull. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary last March. Charles was a graduate of Catasauqua High School and he received his Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from Northampton County Community College. He was employed as a lineman for Jersey Central Power and Light for 32 years until retiring in 1996. Prior to that, he was employed as a Milk Tester for the Northampton County Dairy Farming Industry.

He was a former volunteer with Northampton County Meals on Wheels, a former member of the Upper Mount Bethel Township Planning Committee, and enjoyed farming.

In addition to his loving wife Doris, Charles is survived by a daughter, Kim Jo Edelheiser, wife of Duane, and 2 grandchildren, Kara Young and her husband George, and Dane Edelheiser and his wife Danielle, and 4 great-grandchildren Adaline and Ellis Young, and Merryn and Eleanor Edelheiser. He was preceded in death by a brother, Marlin G. Kull, and a sister, Charlene G. Williams.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:30 to 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 11th at Trinity United Church of Christ, 632 S. Delaware Drive, Mt. Bethel, PA. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 11th at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, Martins Creek, PA.
